Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Bookin'Meet (“we”, “us”) helps you mirror busy times across your calendars and share booking links. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, time zone, username, and (for password accounts) a hashed password.
- Google account data — when you connect a Google calendar, we access, with your permission: your calendar list and calendar events (the busy times we mirror), and basic profile info (name, email). We request only the scopes needed to read your busy times and write/manage the events we create.
- Booking data — for meetings booked through your links: the invitee’s name, email, chosen time, and any answers to questions you configure.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We store a Stripe customer/subscription reference and your plan status, not your card number.
- Technical data — basic logs (e.g., request times, errors) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To provide the service — mirror busy blocks across your connected calendars, compute availability, and create booking events.
- To process subscriptions and send service-related messages.
- To secure, debug, and improve the service, and to provide support.
Google user data
We use Google calendar data solely to provide the features you enable (busy-time sync and booking availability). We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except where you give consent, where needed for security or to comply with law, or as strictly required to operate the feature. The private blocks we write to your calendars carry only a label or the detail level you choose — your event details never cross calendars unless you turn that on.
How we share information
- Google — to read your busy times and write the events you ask us to create.
- Stripe — to process payments. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and users’ safety.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Retention & your choices
- You can disconnect any calendar at any time, which deletes its stored access tokens.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, including account deletion, by contacting us.
- We retain data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations.
Security
Connections use HTTPS, and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Cookies & analytics
We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. On our marketing and app pages we also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, rough location, device type); it sets its own cookies. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies, and Google Analytics is not loaded on public booking pages. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
Children
Bookin'Meet isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We’ll update this page and the “last updated” date when this policy changes.
